6.4 Upgrade GS modem firmware

User - Upgrade GS modem firmware

	Upgrade the internal modem of the GS14 /GS16.
	Upload the firmware from the microSD card. One *.usf file must be stored in the \SYSTEM directory of the microSD card.
	Start the firmware upgrade.

The upgrade process includes:

	Checking the validity of the firmware file
	Uploading the firmware file
	Installation of the firmware
	Error handling

Wait until the upgrade is finished. You are informed when the upgrade is finished. The GS14 /GS16 will reboot after the upgrade.

Description of columns

Column	Description
Device type	The available internal modem.
Firmware	The firmware version currently installed on the internal modem.

The firmware upgrade process starts immediately, if the *.usf file is in the \SYSTEM directory of the microSD card. Otherwise an error message is displayed.

Only one vaild *.usf file must exist in the \SYSTEM folder of the GS14 /GS16 microSD card.
